Please join us via Zoom for a beautiful evening of live traditional Latin music with classical guitarist Enrique Lopez and vocalist Edith Lopez on:

Event time/date: Saturday, March 20th from 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm EST.

Grab a nice bottle of Spanish Red wine and enjoy this enchanting musical performance. Suggested minimum donation: $10 per household. Link to attend concert will be emailed to all donors.

Enrique Luis Lopez is based in the New York City area and performs on the nylon string “Spanish” guitar and the Cuban Tres guitar. He also works as a musical director for the various incarnations of his Latin Ensembles where he arranges and composes as well. His ensembles celebrate a diverse range of folk, world, and popular music traditions of Latin America with an emphasis on Cuban and Brazilian genres. Though his formal education is on the Classical guitar, he performs Latin styles such as the Cuban Son, Bolero, Bossa Nova, Rumba Flamenca, Guajira, and Venezuelan Joropo. He has recorded with Latin music luminaries such as Oscar De Leon.

Singer/guitarist/percussionist Edith Ramírez was born in Caracas, Venezuela and is a rising force in Latin Music. Edith began her music and dance studies at a very young age, already performing with various well-known groups by the age of six. She also studied Afro-Venezuelan percussion, improvisation, as well as classical and popular singing. Edith has performed extensively in Venezuela and abroad with the critically acclaimed choral ensembles “Ars Musica Polifonium”, “Schola Cantorum de Caracas” and “Orfeón Universitario Simon Bolivar”, as well as “Séptimo Jazz”, “Tercer Set” (Pop-Rock), “Quirpa Gaitera” (traditional Venezuelan music), “Maria Juana y su Guayoyo” (Latin music) and the guitar ensemble “Orquesta Nacional de Guitarras de Venezuela”. In the United States, she has performed with Albita Rodríguez, José Luis Martínez, Carlos del Pino, Grupo Rastro (Contemporary Dance), and Latin bands such as Mango Blue and the Enrique López Latin Ensemble.
